Chosen Youth Ministry

1 Peter 2:9 " But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;" Children are our future brothers and sisters in Christ. Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." It is important to teach our children about God, this is the greatest gift we can give them.  Every 4th Sunday is Youth Day.

Fishers of Men

Matthew 4:19, "And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."  Men talk is the brother to brother forum for men to help in the daily application of biblical principles to the practical assurance of Kingdom men, leadership, and discipleship.

Pastoral Care

Pastoral care is a ministry that realize it is vital to pray for the senior pastor so that he has the moral courage and spiritual wisdom to lead the church and to work effectively with other church leaders. When people complain and give him a hard time, it gives him sleepless nights and a great deal of stress. It is vital to understand that the senior pastor is God’s Representative and Leader of the Church. We should attend our ears and our heart to his teaching, value him highly for his work, trust his judgment, wisdom, and experience, and pray for him and his family. Hebrews 13:17 says, “Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden.”

So, at Charity Rest we strive to care for our senior pastor in four ways: financial support, accountability, respect, and submission of the congregation to the Word of God.

Titus Too(2) Women's Ministry

3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, 4 and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. Titus 2: 3-5 esv

Mission

Our mission is to call every woman, young and old to Greatness. Titus Too equips and encourage women of all ages with biblical truth and empowers them to do ethe same for others. Our ministry is to bring groups of women together to promote successful discipleship in life, family, and work

About

The purpose of Titus Too (2) Ministry is to support the discipleship ministry of the church by helping women establish covenant relationships with God and women who will encourage and equip them to live for God's glory. A Christ-Centered ministry to help women blossom, take control of their life by helping each other journey to a more abundant life with Christ. The word Too is used to emphasize a positive answer to a negative statement. I’m not going to be a good Christian women, wife, mother, or friend.” “You are too!”

Event-driven, purpose-driven, task-driven, or personality-driven ministries can provide opportunities for many accomplishments. However, there is an inherent danger in that any ministry that is not Biblically informed will eventually become competitive and divisive. Any ministry that does not balance its food pantry, luncheons, church carnivals and banquet fairs with the equipping of solid Biblical food will not enable its women to grow and flourish in their God-given roles.

The whole goal of Titus Too (2) is to train women in Biblical, simple-to-measure, Spirit-empowered, love-based living.

Paul did not call for Titus as the pastor to train all the women in these qualities God wanted them to cultivate; rather he called upon the godly older women of Christ's church. He singles out the women of faith, those who had already learned to love their husbands, learned to love their children, and learned to be reverent, godly, modest, and wise—and charged them with seeking out and meeting with every younger woman in the church.

physical control of any appetite points to a spiritual immaturity. Both Timothy and Titus were told to beware of women returning to their old habits in this realm of drinking.

Experience the life changing power of the Gospel as both old and young women apply these principles to their relationships and interactions.

Volunteer Groups

James 1:27 "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." We want you to give your time and efforts in a truly altruistic way. Jesus said to love your neighbor as you love your self. This is shown in altruistic service. Whether giving time, money, talents, food or material things, it is all to help one another in need. Always remember, you never know at what point you might need help from another.
